Introducing 'Smart Class'

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that we are introducing the latest technology in e-learning i.e. digital classes termed ‘SMART CLASS.’ It is a computer aided class room teaching methodology designed to empower teachers with technology right inside classrooms, turning them into lively and vibrant learning platforms for students. Teachers use the digital resources such as animations, video clips and simulated models as part of their classroom period to teach the specific topics through e-learning enabling a multi sensory learning experience for students.

INTRODUCTION OF X SEED CURRICULUM

For the benefit of young students, experiential learning concept has been introduced from this new session i.e. April 2011 – March 2012. The X-seed curriculum has been incorporated at our school from Std. V- VII with a vision to make learning an experiential process for every child. As X-seed integrates the CBSE, and is built along the recommendations of the National Curriculum frame work (NCF), we believe that our children will receive the right base to start a learning process that is life long.

This is a complete curriculum, training and student assessment program for Playgroup-Grade 8 and covers Science, Social Science, Math, and English. At the heart of XSEED is the belief that learning is a cycle based on experience, analysis, action and reflection as compared to the traditional one step textbook-telling approach. It caters to different learning styles by replacing “telling” with a five-step experiential learning approach viz. 1 EXPERIENCE, 2. SHARE, 3. PROCESS , 4. GENERALIZE & 5. APPLY .The unique X seed curriculum and method of teaching will help the teacher to explain the concepts innovatively and also extend them to real life. The child will be more confident and enjoy her lessons.
